Me: Do you have any idea how much I love you?
Bella: (age 3) Yes I do, like this much. (Arms going out as big as they can)
Me: Bigger!
Bella: This much? (arms basically touching elbow to elbow)
Me: Bigger! Bigger than the van!
Bella: (Mouth falling open in amazement). Bigger than a FAT COW?
Me: (laughing) yes dear. I love you more than a fat cow.

Homemade bread and jam for breakfast.
This bread is amazing, but takes 18 hours to rise. Then 2 hours to rise, again. Then 45 minutes at 425. Well, needless to say, timing is very important. The goal: my wonderful husband would wake up to home made bread, jam and espresso. And if we stop the story here, and look at the picture little hearts will fly in the air.
The story were not going to talk about: At 2 am, my alarm went off to punch dough and shape it. My alarm accidentally awoke my husband. And the baby. At 4 am I was to put the now (18 hour raised) dough in the oven at 425. ( no problem). In went the dough, and strait back to bed.
4:25 the fire alarm is going off "THERE IS A FIRE.FIRE.FIRE.FIRE" said the women stuck inside my fire alarm. My husband shoots up, ready to grab and go. I calmly state "Don't panic, I'm just cooking." He slams down and starts snoring.
4:30 Bella wakes up crying. Clearly afraid that Armageddon is here, and she is alone during this hard time.
4:45 I make espresso for my husband. And me. 2 for me.
5:00 I apologize to my husband, for all the commotion last night. "Yea, what's going on?"
I explained I was just trying to make him hot bread and espresso. A surprise. He starts laughing and says "Thank you honey."
I will make this bread again! But with much better timing!!! Lol

Pesto
Last spring I had a HUGE batch of basil. I tuned it into Pesto and froze that bad boy.
Fast forward 6 months, and it's dinner. :) And the little ones are going crazy for it!

The case of the flickering light bulb
Bella, 3 years old, was going to go potty. She ran into the bathroom, doing the pee pee dance. Switched the light on and noticed the bathroom light flickering. She then ran out "MAMAMAAA!!!! The lights are doing THIS:..." She then began to blink very hard and very slow. "I think they are telling me something, but I don't speak 'blink'." :D

My beautiful backyard
Every child should have an area where they desire to go. Somewhere where plants grow, there's areas to hangout in the sun, or shade. You can feel the breeze and hear the wind chimes. Somewhere where you can eat crackers and cheese and share it with the earth worm we named "Mr. McGormic". I love my backyard so much right now. The tee pee is growing Peas. So the children will be able to sit inside an edible teepee. The hummingbird feeder is active and beautiful, so far 3 females and 2 males. The bird feeders are active too. The pinwheels spin all day from the breeze. <3 the green plant pot is growing wild flowers, and Bella waters them daily.
I don't know who loves this back yard more, me (probably me) or them. I just want to sit outside and be with these little babies and watch hummingbirds. I hung all kinds of wind chimes and fabric flowies. (Happy sigh) life. Is. Good.

Service
What a delightful day out in the ministry.
We went out, and had a wonderful time with grandpa and Teta.
We had a number of wonderful conversations.
When the kids got too fussy we went to feed the ducks. Followed by a stroll through the park.
We played a little bit on the play structure, then time to pick up Bro Bro.
It was simply a wonderful day. Simply wonderful.

Pinto beans
Why spend hundreds of dollars on toys?!
When you can spoon pinto beans into a cupcake pan?!?
Seriously, this task has kept both girls busy for about 40 minutes.
Fantastic.
