It's much better...but still not to my standards.

The flower was wonderful to learn. Amazing what one piece of string can become. :)

I found this short article to be....moving.
A real shove um' up against the wall kind of inspiration. Life is not about the easy road. Their is no good story from that road. Life is hard. Period. Life can be great, if you make it. This article was wonderful!

When I sleep with my babies...

This is how I feel.... I feel like a ball of warm fuzz, sleeping with smaller warm balls of fuzz! Just so warm and fuzzy!
Except, Koral would of been foot to tummy, Billy would of been lost in my fur, Fina and Bella would be the kittens in the picture. So much fuzz to love!

Big sissy love

Fina was crying her way to sleep. Crying. Snot. Crying. Snot.
A vicious circle of messy doom.
Bella calmly climbs into the crib, and begins setting up bed. As Fina is frantically trying to climb out of the crib, to get to mama and Nee Nee; Bella is straitening the blankets, the pillow, turning on the mobile and says to me "Give me the Baby." I gently put the pacifier in Finas mouth, gently lay her down and walk out of the room. Fina immediately calms down and there is no sound coming from the bedroom. I walk in on this sweet moment. Sweet Bella, trusting her instinct and selflessly loving her baby sister. Such love! Such beautiful love.

"Because I have to."

"Bella, why do you like chocolate so much?" I asked my little 2 year old.
Who was eating home made chocolate pudding from scratch.
"Ummmm...because, because...I have to." She causally said taking another big bite.
"BUT WHY Bella?"
She smiled and said "Because its soooo yummy."

So simple. So sweet.

The tale of the cookie pants

Bella, was watching the laundry as it turned round and round. She was very focused on something. That something happened to be the cookie pants. That's right pink with little cookies on them.

These pants were stuck weird inside of the dryer. She began to panic.

"Mommy, mommy, come fix my cookie pants."

She said this as she jumped up and down afraid the dryer was going to eat her cookies pants.

I looked inside the dryer at the pants, they were stuck on something. So I open the dryer door and inside I unlatched the pants. She began biting her fingernails "are they ok mommy?"

At this point I was laughing so hard I couldn't see pass my tears.
"Yes, your cookie pants have survived."

She grabbed her pink pants and hugged them.

"Quick go boil an egg"

I found a medical emergency trick on Pinterest. Did you know that the membrane of a boiled egg can hold a gash closed long enough to seek proper medical care?

I was SO astounded by this simple medical breakthrough that I shared it with my husband. He smirked, and said "Our daughter is bleeding out, Quick GO BOIL AN EGG."

This made me laugh!!! Oh.
Now I feel stupid. Well, I mean, by the time the eggs done boiling, we could of made it to the ER easily. (Lol)

"OK, honey, I'll meet you in the car... I've got 3 minutes until the egg is done.... APPLY PRESSURE."

Seriously?!?! Lol

I love when I walk in on my kids.

Sometimes my alarm wakes the babies. Sometimes my husbands alarms wakes the babies. And sometimes they don't understand what their hearing. So it isint entirely surprising when a child comes running, a little shy, a little apprehensive about what's going on. Bella came running to me, for this exact situation, at 4 am in the morning. Eyes half open. Bouncing as she's running. Dolly bouncing and being drug behind. As she finds me; she screams out: "MAMA IM FREAKING OUT!!!!!" My response?
"Awwww honey, are you freaking out?come here binker bunker boo."

Bella was watching 'The Cat in the Hat', and the fish asked the audience: "Where is a starfishes eyes?" Then a cartoon starfish came up. The fish would give suggestions and the eyes would change on the starfish. Finally the answer came around and Bella started laughing so hard. "That is sooo funny!!!" She said while laying on the floor.

I love reading to my little boogies.
Bella seems so involved. She watches the book as if she can see it in her head. The little dear was so upset that Adam and Eve sinned. She replied with "Well, that's not fair." Lol!

"Hey! Quiet!"

Bella was quite busy by herself preparing her babies for bed. Everyone needed dinner, then baths, then pjs then a story. Upon her babies, finally, falling asleep, she found herself quite busy kissing each on the head and whispering "Goodnight my wittle baby. I love you so much." Koral walked into the living room taking WAY TO LOUD.
Bella fell out of her skin and stood up and said "You woke my kids up. Great."
Koral of corse apologized. Bella's looked her up and down and said "ah-huh." LOL

Jazz hands

I have this inner weakness for jazz fingers. Big eyes, funny smile and jazz fingers gets me every time. It makes me laugh, and it makes me say yes. Who an say no to jazz fingers?!?!
Bella asked for popcorn before dinner. The answer should of been simple. It should of been "No." But she came out of nowhere, she smiled so big, asked me for "A wittle bit of poppycorn." And did JAZZ FINGERS. Seriously? Yes. Just yes! Go child! Be happy little poppy corn child! It would of been perfect if she tapped out of the room. :D
So yes, in the martin home, were eating dessert first, then dinner. All because of jazz fingers and my infatuation with STOMP! Lol

What happens at my house when....

Daddy wants hot chocolate.
Of coarse, I add whipped cream. Of coarse.

Well opening a can of this is like opening a bag of chips at midnight and hoping no one will hear.

"Ok fine. Line um' up." Lol Fina is in this picture, she was just purely shocked that a loud noise started in her mouth, then, yumminess followed. Simply amazing.

"It's been scientifically proven.."

Koral was very excited about painting. So she began babbling. Babble, babble, babble, ramble, babble, ramble ramble, paint, ramble... Etc

And billy says to Koral very casually:

"You know, it's been scientifically proven, if your quiet your art will come out better."

Lol!!!!!
