Service, pic nic lunch, park and a cow.

Service was fruitful and plentiful this morning. Fina, Bella and I worked with Marielle, Koral worked with sister Stroberg and Billy worked with Matt Bulyzian.

On our adventure we found a mail box that looked like a cow. She was missing a googly eye, but none the less adorable.

Then, off to the park for a pic nic lunch and run around time.

Tonight we have the special book study with the CO. Maybe these kids will be so tired they will sleep early tonight.

Side note: The little ones were 5 stars good out in service.

Koral said she had the best time out in service with the older sisters. She had theist beautiful smile on her face. My sweet girl.

Billy worked until 1:15!!

Thank you Jehovah. For everything.

Baby billy got to work with the CO today. Fina, Koral and I worked one part of the territory and Bella worked with Sister Woodford.

Then we went to the Concord library to check out some books.

A lovely morning.

Another big giant MOUTH FULL

Chocolate brownie banana bread.
With flax seed.

Recycle and reuse that chocolate

No fool ever threw away CHOCOLATE.
Especially with 4 kids in the house. :)

About 6 months ago I attempted (and failed) at making chocolate covered espresso beans. What a LOT OF TIME to fail. However, I squirreled them away for another recipe another day. Chocolate and coffee should never be wasted. Ever. Period.

Well, I was cleaning out the freezer and found them. And delightful sprinkled them all over the chocolate banana bread.

Yummy yummy!

Mouth full

Chocolate covered espresso bean, chocolate chip, banana bread.

Amazing. Just amazing.

On a healthy note ( nothing to do with THIS recipie) I think I can replace the cocoa with chocolate protein powder. And use whole wheat flour or Quinoa. There is, however, 9 bananas in this recipe. Which is why it came out like stiff baby food.

No complaints here. Pass the fork please.

Homemade Sour dough

Surprisingly amazing. I made the starter about 3 weeks ago and kept it I'm the fridge for a few weeks.

Today, I woke it up, and made a big ol batch of sour dough.

I am amazed at the inside consistency. Spongy, but not wet, warm, fluffy.

I am in love with this recipie.

Ben and Anna

I'm watching a cartoon with Bella.
And there are 2 monkeys, a brother and a sister. They love each other dearly. They began singing; "My names Ben." Then the little girl monkey sings "My names Anna." And then they sing together "Together were Benanna."
Bella falls out laughing. "Oh my word mamma!!!! Benanana!!!!!"

:D tv is so much fun with 3 year olds.

Ant posion

It worked. It took 3 weeks, but it worked.

Borax and jam, mixed together. The ants took it back to their nest and never came back.

Side note: the ants enjoyed 1 tbsp borax to 1 tbsp jam the most. But the did eat out of all the different containers.

GONE! They are GONE.

Also, cinnamon did prove to work. They did not pass the cinnamon line. However, who wants random cinnamon lines all over the house? :D

Hello happy lady bug

She wanted to share my lemon, over lunch. I didn't mind.

Mama got a new skirt

I found the easiest pattern today at Joann's. Elastic wasted, and very easy seams. I needed some new skirts so I thought, why go to a store when I have everything I need right here?

Mama time in KoKomo

I needed a little mamma time.
Daddy was hanging out in the backyard with the babies. When Bella inquired "Where's mama?" Daddy explained "She's in KoKomo."

Fast forward about an hour.

Bella comes into my bed room, where I'm hanging out watching a movie and studying Jehovah's word, and she looks surprised.

"Ha ha ha, mama!!!!! Ha ha ha!! Silly daddy thinks your in KoKomo! But your right here! Silly daddy."

Ha ha ha!!!! She makes me laugh.

My clothes line

Makes me giggle.

"Know what's sad?" Bella (3 years)

"That you made this pretty princess dress and there's no belly button hole."

"What?!" I'm compleatly confused.

"Sometimes I want to poke my Belly button because its fun, and I have to lift my dress. That's sad. Next time you make me a dress can you make me a belly button hole?"

Wow! Talk about tailored! Lol!!!

"Yes. I will make you a pj dress with a little hole so you can poke your belly button when needed." LOL

Bella age 3 "Oliver and Lavender"

Bella recently received 2 babies, and she immediately said they were going to be named "Oliver and Lavender."

Awww <3

Well, Oliver and Lavender needed to take a bath and get cleaned up for their new home to be, so I threw them in the wash.

This brought mixed emotion to her little world. "In the wash?!?!"
So she literally put a chair in front and watched her babies get washed.

"Real babies don't go in the wash, right mama?!"

Ha ha! "Right baby. They go in the bath."

"Something is Super Stinky"

"MOM! Something is super stinky, go check that child's diaper!"

-Bella (3)

Mama and papa are so proud

It's the little accomplishments in life that make life so special. Sarafina fell asleep in her own big girl bed last night. She did get up twice, both because she couldn't find her special things. When 6:30 am came, she got up and came to me. Her special things: Her glow worm and her lady bug flash light. She loves this one blanket that a girl friend made for Bella a few years ago. Fina will set up her bed, perfectly, then snuggle her little head in. It's just precious.

Family study

Family study was easy and fun. We sang, and watched J.W. T.V for the little ones. Such unity in singing together as a family. For the older ones, daddy decided to pick up an older book that the order ones have never read or completely forgot about. Billy (13), says "The book of Revelation." Koral (14) says "Young people ask volume 2" and I picked the Minor Prophet Book.
Daddy settled on the Draw Close To Jehovah Book. Everyone is willing and excited.

If you give a baby a blanket....

She's going to want a juice cup to go with it.

When she starts to drink, she will realize she needs a teddy bear.

When you bring her a teddy bear, she will remind you that there was a bow in her, hair and now it's lost.

So you will have to find it.

When you bring her the bow, it will remind her how much she loves dress up, and she will want to play Doctor with everyone.

Using her thermometer will make her play sick. She will want to lay on a blanket.

And chances are, if she's laying on a blanket, she will want a juice cup to go with it.

Bella said she needed me to see her something beautiful for bed. Something's a princess would sleep in.
So we talked about fabric and design. And this is what we came up with.

Really?!?! Lace and strawberries. How cute is she?!?!
