Yesterday, I contemplated NOT going out in service. After starting a load of laundry, making a big Monday breakfast, that required more plates than there were seats, and thinking about taking on the task of getting 3 kids out the door---- BEFORE 9 AM.............
I was so overwhelmed with it all, I just settled on going out a little longer on Tuesday.
After breakfast (which was Laazzzyyy and long conversations with the kids, and picking the last potato and egg off the plate) I summoned everyone to the sink. "Lets get washing." And we washed, and laughed, and dried, and sang, and washed and laughed. Then when everyone was said and done, I looked at the clock;
----- 8:03 a.m.-------
What?! Really?! Thats it? Then I burst out with "EVERYONE GET READY FOR SERVICE...GO...GO...GO..." All 3 kids started laughing and squealing.
We were dressed, in the car, bags packed by 8:30. We made it. How on earth did we make it?!
Getting out in service, in itself is a blessing....
But...
My son placed 23 magazines and 1 book. And his zeal was running HOT yesterday. He wanted to preach to anything with 1/2 a pulse! I had to hold him back on a few occasions.
Im so happy we made the choice to go out yesterday, it was a simple, joyful blessing that Im still reaping from.
