How to succeed in serving Jehovah, is such an amazing balancing act. I often rant about the physical aspect of the matter. Over doing myself physically. (I do often push myself so over the edge physically, that I do end up looking like this tired out little kitten.)
But I was simply amazed at my rejuvenated spirit after meeting on sunday. I was physically exhausted. (Look slightly to your left.) Mentally incapable. Emotionally taxed. And spiritually hungry.
And yes, I kept going.
And going. And going.
Until my (wonderful) husband banned me to the shower.
"Go collect yourself." He kindly demanded.
And I did.
My 10 minute shower felt like a 45 min sauna spa weekend. Complete with mud mask and pedicure. (Actually, it was a mental mud mask and pedicure.... lol...)
On went the panty hoes, the pretty heels, the eyeshadow and the jewelry. Grab my home made peppermint latte and I was ready for the spiritual banquet I was starving for.
Nibble by nibble I ate in Jehovahs delicious food. Proverbs, with a side of Psalms. A big helping of
Genisus with a glob of Revelation. The watchtower was just delicious with its juicy personal applications and crunchy comments from the congregation.
The association was LOVELY! I couldnt find a better word for it. How desperately I needed female conversation, on an adult level. And Jehovah delivered again. So much laughter and wholesome upbuilding conversation.
I left feeling like a whole new woman. Taaaaa-daaaaaaaa.
Jehovah is wonderful, amazing and fantasitic.
