Making sauce from tomatoes

What a blessing. What a wonderful delight. To make sauce with my daughter. My children know where tomato sauce comes from: tomatoes.

When I was a preschool teacher we would ask silly questions like:

Where do potato chips come from?

Where does iced tea come from?

Where does tomato sauce come from?

The children would guess and guess, then we would spend a week on that lesson, ending with a PARTY! Woot woot! And glitter! Always glitter.

I feel so blessed that I'm able to be home, and provide this simple thing for my children. So many can not. I hope, that I can always provide this natural for my children.
